Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has claimed that the early signs are not looking good for Bukayo Saka.
Saka had to be taken off during the first half of the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
The England winger fell to the pitch without any contact, after trying to provide a crossfield pass to a teammate.
Arteta was forced to introduce Eberechi Eze early to replace Saka.
After the match, Saka could be seen limping in the mixed zone, amid news that he injured his left quad.
“We lost Bukayo who was having a great game and we had to adapt,” Arteta said in his post-match press conference.
“We are a bit concerned. Whenever a player has to come off with sharp pain, it’s never good news, but we’ll have to wait and see.”
Saka is now unlikely to feature for Arsenal until the next international break ends in November.
