Watch: Tyler Cameron’s Fiancée Tate Madden Shares One Fear About ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pregnancy Reveal
Don’t worry, Tyler Cameron thinks Tate Madden is lighter than a rose.
Moments after the Bachelor Nation alum and his fiancée revealed during Dancing With the Stars’ Dedication Night that they are expecting their first baby, she explained the fear she had before joining him for his routine, which included a jaw-dropping lift and spin.
“I was like, ‘Oh yeah, he lifted me over his head,’” Madden quipped in an exclusive interview with E! News following the Oct. 20 episode. “He mustered up every ounce of strength he had because he knew I’d probably start crying if he couldn’t get me over his head anymore.”
However, Cameron—who confirmed his engagement to Madden in August—was quick to assuage the mom-to-be, adding in the joint interview, “No, you were up there like a feather, baby.”
Meanwhile, Madden detailed her mindset for the rest of the contemporary dance routine alongside Cameron and his pro partner Sharna Burgess, which was dedicated to Cameron’s late mom Andrea Cameron.
“Once we got to that point and I felt stable up there,” she shared, “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! I didn’t trip, I didn’t fall. We made it through. We got this now.’ And then the adrenaline started to come down as I came down from the lift, and that’s when I just kind of lost it a little bit there for a second.”

Despite the range of emotions that Madden felt throughout the night, she emphasized how special it was to return to dancing after stepping away 12 years ago.
“To be able to come back to it in this way, with this dance, means everything to me,” she said. “[And] to be able to honor his mom? I mean, I get to marry and have kids with the most wonderful man that I’ve ever met, and that’s because of how his mom raised him.”

As Madden put it, “Everything that I love was in one room tonight, and it just was so special. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to be reintroduced to dance.”
While Cameron and Madden prepare to become parents together, read on for other Bachelor Nation alums who have welcomed babies recently.

“Happy Thanksgiving from our now family of 4,” Kevin wrote on Instagram Oct. 8. “Everyone meet our son Nash Lochland Wendt 10.7.23. Astrid and baby boy are doing great and ready to come home today. Our new favourite moment in life was watching August meet Nash, smiling the whole time and kissing his new baby brother.”
