Paul Onuachu is expected to be fit for Trabzonspor’s Turkish Super Lig clash against Beşiktaş next Monday.
Onuachu suffered an injury in Trabzonspor’s UEFA Europa League clash against Finnish side KuPS on Thursday night.
The Nigeria international opened the scoring for Trabzonspor in the third minute, but was replaced by Guinea-Bissau international, Franculino Dju, six minutes after due to the injury.
The injury has put the forward’s availability for the clash with Beşiktaş in doubt.
Turkish news outlet, takagazette, has however reported that the injury is not too serious, with Onuachu leaving the stadium on foot after the match.
Trabzonspor are expected to launch an all-out effort to get him fit in time for the Beşiktaş match.
Onuachu has registered two goals in seven league appearances for the Black Sea Storm this season.
