Prior to his second season at Ole Miss, Trinidad Chambliss is giving back. He has signed an NIL deal with Mama Justice Law Firm and is gearing up to launch a scholarship program through the partnership.
Chambliss and Mama Justice are joining forces to launch the Macon a Difference Scholarship. As part of the five-year, $225,000 commitment, three scholarships worth $15,000 will be given to one student from each of Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.

The Macon a Difference Foundation was established in 2018 by Missy Wigginton, founder of Mama Justice Law Firm, in memory of her son Macon McKinney. In a statement, she pointed to Chambliss’ journey from Division II Ferris State to Ole Miss and the national semifinal last season as reasons the partnership made sense.
“Macon had a heart for people who were struggling, and this scholarship is a direct extension of who he was,” Wigginton said in a statement. “I grew up poor in a family of factory workers who couldn’t afford college… When Trinidad and I sat down and realized how similar our stories are, we knew we had to do something together.”
Chambliss – who has a $5 million On3 NIL Valuation – is among the top names in college football entering the 2026 season after a breakout year at Ole Miss. He didn’t begin the year as the Rebels’ starting quarterback, but took the role and ran with it after Austin Simmons suffered an injury. Across 15 games, he threw for 3,937 yards and 22 touchdowns, to three interceptions, and finished eighth in the Heisman Trophy voting.

This offseason, Chambliss also had to fight for another year of eligibility after the NCAA denied him a waiver. He missed time at Ferris State due to tonsillitis and successfully won a preliminary injunction to become eligible in 2026.
Now back at Ole Miss, Trinidad Chambliss is now giving back through the scholarship program and his latest NIL deal. He noted his work ethic throughout his journey and said that’s his message to those who will ultimately benefit from the scholarship program.

“I didn’t get a single D-I offer out of high school, nobody was lining up to give me a chance,” Chambliss said. “People believed in me before I believed in myself, and my faith carried me the rest of the way. This scholarship is for every young person working twice as hard just to get to the starting line.”
