AUSTIN, TX — Starting Texas offensive lineman Trevor Goosby was carted off in the game against Ole Miss on Oct. 24.
Goosby was injured with 4:48 remaining in the first quarter. He was down on the ground for a couple minutes before being helped into a cart and taken off the field.

Multiple trainers were around him when he was on the ground. He did not move his left arm or leg very much as he got on the cart.
Goosby is a 6-foot-7, 325-pound senior left tackle. Losing him is significant. He is projected as a potential first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. He has started each of Texas’ six games at left tackle in 2026.
Backup Andrew Cojoe replaced Goosby.
