Travis Kelce Confirms He, Taylor Swift Adopted a Dog: See the Picture

In December, fans also speculated that Swift might have gifted the pup to Kelce as a Christmas present when he declined to reveal exactly what she had given him. 

“The best gift that I got was from Taylor,” Kelce said duringa Dec. 31 episode of New Heights. “But it gives away things that we’re trying to keep in-house, so not going to say it. I love you, Tay.”

Indeed, Swift and Kelce adopting a dog is a big step for the Grammy winner, as she has always been a self-proclaimed cat lady. Over the years, Swift has adopted Scottish Folds Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson as well as Ragdoll Benjamin Button. 

Of course, their dog’s seamless performance in front of the camera will be a welcome switch up from Swift’s cats. Over the years, the “Karma” singer has admitted that her felines aren’t as game for her public-facing lifestyle. 

Benjamin, for his part, has put in work posing on Swift’s TIME Person of the Year cover in 2023, as well as even having his meet-cute with hisnow-owner on the set of the “Me!” music video in 2019.

Olivia and Meredith, however, are much less inclined to step into the spotlight. In fact, Swift proved that a dog was already a possibility in her future when she attempted to have her pets pose for 1989 press in 2014, lamentingas she attempted to pose Olivia on a stool, “Why aren’t you a dog?”
