Kelechi Iheanacho has opened up on his decision to join Turkish second-division club Bursaspor in the summer, DAILY POST reports.
Iheanacho spent last season on loan at Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.
The Nigeria international played a crucial role in the club’s domestic success.
The 30-year-old scored nine times in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Hoops.
Iheanacho, however, made a surprise switch to Bursaspor after Celtic delayed in handing him a new contract.
The striker has made an impressive start to life in Turkey, registering 16 goals and three assists in 12 league appearances.
Iheanacho said he was not thinking about his future in the summer.
“To be fair, I don’t talk about transfers. I really try to concentrate on my football. The transfer talks were done with the agents and directors,” he told Bursaspor TV.
