    Watch: Tom Hanks Attends Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Wedding

    Taylor Swift has got a friend in Tom Hanks.

    The Oscar-winning actor wasn’t toying around while attending the singer’s star-studded wedding to Travis Kelce on July 3 in New York City, proving his bond with T.Swift goes beyond their recent Toy Story 5 collaboration.

    Tom looked dapper in a classic black suit as the 69-year-old was photographed leaving Madison Square Garden following Taylor and Travis’ “I Dos” in front of 1,000 guests. (See every famous guest at the wedding here.)

    While Tom’s wife Rita Wilson wasn’t by his side as he exited the party, the Castaway star was certainly in good company and he sat in the back seat of a town car alongside Paul McCartney after the festivities, which was also attended by Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Ed Sheeran, Dakota Johnson, Sombr, Niecy Nash, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs team mates and many, many more famous faces.

    Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding: Celebs Leave MSG Ceremony

    Tom’s appearance at the ceremony isn’t something out of fans’ wildest dreams. The stars recently both worked on Toy Story 5, with Taylor recording the film’s song “I Knew It, I Knew You.”

    Tom—who has been married for 38 years—even offered up some sound marriage advice for the newlyweds ahead of their walk down the aisle.

    As he exclusively told E! News at the June 9 premiere, “The man must make the waffles on Sunday.”

    As for his thoughts on Swift’s Toy Story 5 track “I Knew It, I Knew You,” Tom—who has been lending his voice to Woody since 1995—hilariously shared, “We were told the day it came out. They don’t trust us, and there is a brain trust that goes along that I am not a part of. So, I just do what I’m told.”

    But for Taylor, it was a dream come true to have her music featured in the iconic franchise. 

    “It’s a *Toy* Story,” the 36-year-old quipped in June 1 Instagram post. “I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie.”

    She continued, “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?”
