Nashville is known for country music, but the Tennessee Titans have been singing the blues for years.
It’s something the franchise hopes to change in 2026. The Titans hired former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh to take over as Tennessee tries to turn the corner in its rebuilding effort. One year removed from drafting Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick, the immediate future is all about building around the young signal caller.

Things seem to be looking up for the franchise as a whole, especially with a new stadium on the way in 2027.
2026 NFL DRAFT: Finding the perfect prospect for every team
For now, they’ll try to close the current building in style, all while building a roster for the fans to be proud of. Of course, there is a distinct New York football look to this team, much like the many tri-state area residents that have transplanted to Nashville.
Saleh brought along former New York Giants coach Brian Daboll to serve as the offensive coordinator. The pair have spent much of the offseason bringing former Jets and Giants to the Music City.

It remains to be seen whether they can produce a hit song.

NFL MOCK DRAFT: Three options for every pick – except No. 1
This section will be updated after the Titans make their first selection.
The Titans should have one goal in mind during the draft – help Ward. That starts with getting him a reliable pass-catching option to challenge for a top spot on the receiver depth chart.

The second step is to find someone to block up front. They have invested in the offensive line, but the Titans would benefit from some upgrades at center and guard.
It’s all about the playmakers, regardless of the position at this point. The Titans are in prime position to add a premier talent like Jeremiyah Love in the first round and that might be the best thing they can do for Ward.
Here’s what the Titans could do come draft night, per Ayrton Ostly’s seven-round mock draft:
-
Round 1, Pick 4: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame
-
Tennessee could easily go defense at this spot but 2025 No. 1 pick Cam Ward needs help on offense. Love is the most dynamic offensive weapon in the class and would have an immediate impact on the ground and through the air as a receiver. Tennessee will head to the defensive side of the ball later on in the draft.
-
-
Round 2, Pick 35: OT Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern
-
Tennessee continues to invest in its young quarterback by bringing in the reliable Tiernan. The Northwestern product is a good pass protector from Day 1 who hasn’t missed a snap in four years of college play. His massive frame (6-foot-8, 323 pounds) and reliable anchor should help him contend for starting snaps with Dan Moore.
-
-
Round 3, Pick 66: LB Deontae Lawson, Alabama
-
Tennessee finally gets Robert Saleh a linebacker to develop with the athleticism to be good in coverage. His slight run defense concerns will be eased with Jeffery Simmons in front of him.
-
-
Round 4, Pick 101: CB Devin Moore, Florida
-
Round 5, Pick 142: CB Jadon Canady, Oregon
-
Round 5, Pick 144: WR De’Zhaun Stribling, Ole Miss
-
Round 6, Pick 194: IOL Febechi Nwaiwu, Oklahoma
-
Round 7, Pick 225: TE Dallen Bentley, Utah
