Before the Tennessee Titans took the field on Tuesday, coordinators John Fassel, Brian Daboll, and Gus Bradley met with the media to discuss the state of their units ahead of the final minicamp.
During his media session, Bradley was asked about second-year edge Femi Oladajo, who has been absent from some of the sessions, and he broke down his thoughts on the young edge and the defensive line as a whole.
“You’ve seen just enough, maybe. You know, the d-line, at this period of time, is just really a fundamental period of time for them to look at their execution, how they get off, their explosiveness, and things like that. You are trying to build a picture of what you think they look like, or possibly could look like, and it’s unfortunate that he hasn’t been, but you do see it on tape.”

There really has been no talk about Oledejo and his status throughout the offseason team activities, but as Bradley points out, the work the defensive linemen do during these sessions is less performance-based and more fundamental. While there is no doubt that Oladejo needs the reps, it is definitely more important that he take part in training camp.
