The annual running of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge returned to Rochester Thursday night.
The 3.5 mile road race began at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at ESL Federal Credit Union Stadium, formerly known as Frontier Field and Innovative Field. The course took participants through several downtown Rochester neighborhoods and streets.

The Rochester Corporate Challenge has been a tradition since 1991. The event paused in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, 4,424 participants from 211 companies took part. This year, there were 4,297 participants from 216 companies registered for the road race.
