Former Bayern Munich and German national team star Thomas Müller is in lock-step Julian Nagelsmann. Müller would eschew a rotation against Ecuador.
“If I were Julian Nagelsmann, I would stick to the current approach and give the team stability. The first-choice goalkeeper plays if fit. I would start Manuel Neuer. We’re not here to hand out gifts,” Müller said during an appearance on MagentaTV (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

The topic has been hotly debated among fans and pundits, but Nagelsmann appears ready to ride with most of his non-injured starters. Nico Schlotterbeck’s long-term ankle injury has ended his World Cup, but Nathaniel Brown is a little banged up and is expected to sit out.
Otherwise, Nagelsmann is now expected to play his starters (a whole separate topic), despite some initial stories that other players might start.
There is a slight possibility that Nagelsmann pulls a Jesse Marsch and is deliberately putting out untrue information, but that does not seem like his style.
