Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the racist comment made against UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, by a chieftain of the UK Reform Party.
In a post on his verified X handle, Sani said the incident is a lesson to Nigerians who try to deny their roots to please the West.
Recall that a chieftain of the Reform Party had made a racial slur against Kemi Badenoch, of Nigerian descent, questioning her British identity.
Reacting, Sani wrote, “No matter how you try to deny being Nigerian, the Caucasian will always remind you of your roots.”
He added that Badenoch’s experience shows that racism does not care about your accent, your passport or your political position.
At the time of filing this report, the UK Reform Party is yet to officially respond to the racist comment made by its chieftain.
