They say: A limited-edition lipstick set featuring two new matte shades from the Rouge Allure Velvet collection. The two hues — 478 Rencontre and 479 Crush — come with a gold keepsake case and are decorated with the emblematic quilting of the Coco Crush ring. While this limited-edition set is likely to sell out quickly, there are several new beauty launches from the brand that can be discovered this season.

We say: The two, special pink-and-brown-hued lipsticks in this collector’s case are wonderfully wearable. The luminous matte formula feels comfortable on lips, providing a velvety finish that wears well throughout the day. Plus, we love that the gold-toned carry case can be used to house other Rouge Allure lipstick favourites.

Biologique Recherche Creme M.E.C
Article content
They say: A rich face cream from the French brand Biologique Recherche that promises to increase skin’s plumpness and density in 56 days. The cream addresses loss of structure of the Extra-Cellulaire Matrix (ECM) where the loss of collagen, elastin and more due to aging can lead to fine lines and loss of density.

We say: Our tester applied this “bi-gel” formula as directed, both morning and evening on the face, neck and décolleté. The product has a thick, cocooning texture, but the gel aspect sees it feeling surprisingly lightweight on skin after absorption. With use, she reported noticing an improved plumpness and dewiness to her skin.

Clarins Precious Le Serum Bright
Article content
They say: A brightening serum from Clarins’ top-tier skin care collection, Precious. Tapping into the power of Moonlight Flower cryoextract and a ‘crystal radiance technology,’ along with a cystoseira seaweed extract, this facial serum boosts radiance and smooths texture.

We say: Our tester applied this serum on clean skin before applying it before her moisturizer. A small amount of the product covered the face and neck nicely. With continued daily use, she noticed her skin appeared smoother and firmer. Not a big fan of the ‘glass skin’ look, our tester was happy to report this serum boosted her skin’s radiance, but wasn’t greasy or shiny.
