Benefit The POREfessional Concealer
Article content
They say: An innovative new concealer formula from Benefit that’s part of the bestselling The POREfessional range. The buildable and blendable product features ingredients from the LVMH labs that make this release the brand’s smoothest concealer formula yet. Available in 35 shades.

We say: The way we use concealer has changed. No longer are we just using it for under-eyes and to spot-correct. These days, makeup fans apply concealer as a contour and brightening product and so much more. To meet that evolution, Benefit has launched this new multitasking product. More of a complexion perfecter than a concealer, the formula is lightweight and very customizable. Our tester found it brightened and corrected wherever applied and it didn’t settle into fine lines. Nice!

ILIA Thru Line Waterproof Eyeliner
Article content
They say: A long-wearing eyeliner formula from ILIA that’s billed as being sweatproof and waterproof. Available in 10 shades, the pencils are made in part using repurposed coffee chaff (a waste product of the coffee industry), so there’s a sustainable spin to this makeup release too.
Article content
We say: These eyeliners go on super-smooth and perfectly pigmented. Our tester gravitated toward the shade Hyperreal, a champagne shimmer, that she used to line her lower lash waterline for a seriously eye-brightening effect. The pencil formula stays in place and doesn’t smudge.

YSL Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil Gloss
Article content
They say: A plumping lip gloss that’s infused with oil and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump lips. Available in a selection of hues, the range includes the iconic YSL shade, 44 Nude Lavalliere, a perfect universal pink.
Article content
We say: This lip gloss is seriously tingly on lips. Our tester found the product had a particularly prickly feeling at the start to get the plumping action going. But the results were real. She reports that her lips looked and felt more full with use. Plus, the gloss is smooth and shiny without feeling sticky. If you don’t love the tingle of a plumping formula, but you want the hydration and shine (and that covetable YSL 44 colour), consider the new YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Stick.
