    Watch: Kim Kardashian Admits She “Wasn’t Ready to Open Up” Before Lewis Hamilton Romance

    For years, Kim Kardashian couldn’t be bothered to keep up with a relationship. 

    While a nine-month romance with Pete Davidson, the comic she connected with when hosting Saturday Night Live in 2021, provided the levity needed following a tough split with former husband Kanye “Ye” West—dad to North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West—it proved to be a lot to take on. 

    “I like to think I got that one out of the way for her because whoever that guy was going to be was gonna get it,” Davidson recently told Variety of dealing with Ye’s verbal abuse. “I cleared the path for her to get back into the dating pool.”

    Still, the SKIMS creator found it easier to remain single for years. 

    “That felt great,” she explained to The Times. “I could focus on my kids and projects that I really wanted to be involved with.”

    Despite rumors of her huddling up with retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady and her decision to run a few plays with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., her love life didn’t really start speeding along until she hopped into F1 driver Lewis Hamilton‘s passenger seat earlier this year.

    “I felt like I needed my time,” she noted. “I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself. I wasn’t ready to open up. I really wasn’t even thinking about it. The universe works in your favor when you just allow it to.”

    That has proven true for her famed family as well. 

    Though Khloe Kardashian admitted in The Kardashians trailer she’s “single and might be ready to mingle,” following years of abstinence, Kourtney Kardashian came to appreciate all the small things she loved about longtime pal-turned-husband Travis Barker. And, yes, Kris Jenner and boyfriend of 12 years Corey Gamble are still doing amazing, sweetie. 

    Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner‘s three year-plus partnership Timothée Chalamet has grown so serious, he wasn’t afraid to call her by her name while accepting Best Actor honors at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in January. And things appear pretty, uh, euphoric between Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner, who took a timeout from her previous starting five. 

    With season eight of The Kardashians set to drop on Hulu Oct. 8, keep up with the family’s current squad.

    Kris JennerWhy, yes, Kris Jenner and longtime love Corey Gamble are still doing amazing, sweetie. In 2014, the music industry insider approached the world’s most famous momager at fashion designer Riccardo Tisci‘s 40th birthday bash in Ibiza and “I just tried saying, ‘You’re beautiful. I’d love to get to know you,'” he shared on the family’s OG series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, “and it went from there.”More than a decade in, Kris gushed about her “ride or die” in a 2025 birthday tribute, writing, “Thank you for all you do every single day, for the love you give, and for always being there for all of us.     Kourtney KardashianWith all due respect for all the small things, Kourtney Kardashian‘s husband has made some pretty grand gestures throughout their yearlong marriage. Take her 44th birthday that saw her and Travis Barker take a trip up the California coast to Santa Barbara. The Blink-182 drummer marked the occasion by filling their room at the famed Kennedy Cottage with rose petals and gifting her with a $161,819 piece by artist Yoshitomo Nara. The Poosh founder has fully embraced her new life as the girl at the rock show. And in November 2023, she and Travis welcomed their first child together, son Rocky Thirteen Barker.
