The Niners rushed for 174 yards, which included some crucial plays. What stood out was the pre-snap motion use, with the 49ers utilising creative backfield play to gain an advantage.
Fullback Kyle Juszczyk was one of the focal points in this. After the game, some fans on social media questioned whether his looping ‘banana motion’ should be banned, but Jason Kelce is not having it.
While the 49ers are using pre-snap motion for a lot more than half their plays, there is nothing inherently illegal about much of their play.

And the elder Kelce didn’t mince his words while discussing the issue, letting those who have a problem with it know that he thinks Juszczyk did nothing wrong.
“I don’t want to talk about that, it’s just nonsense,” Kelce said. “Juszczyk wasn’t doing anything wrong. People haven’t seen full-backs in such a long time that they don’t know how they used to move around back there.
“As long as you’re not going forward, and he wasn’t going forward. There’s some times where guys are going a little bit at the line on a toss crack motion, sometime guys will cheat it a little.

“I don’t think this rule needs to be changed. I don’t think there’s a big uproar. The way that they work within the rules to utilise that. I think that a lot of the outrage is fake to create engagement.
Jason’s take on this is quite emphatic and while some Rams fans may take issue with it, it is hard to disagree with what Kelce had to say on the topic.
