This Week on True Crime News The Podcast: A deranged teenager takes a woman’s life as a twisted tribute to a TV character but calls authorities after injuring himself. Benjamin Day lured Maria Saceanu to a “kill room” inspired by “Dexter.” During the brutal act, Day accidentally cut his hand and called emergency responders for help. While he claimed the injury was caused by a wild dog, he only incriminated himself further. After pleading guilty midtrial, the killer is facing a mandatory life sentence.
