The Tennessee Titans have kicked off their final round of offseason practices with their mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, but before getting started, they added some more competition to their defensive front.
While not officially announced by the organization and with no corresponding move outlined, NFL analyst Jeremy Fowler reports that the Titans are signing Washington Commanders free-agent defensive lineman Jalyn Holmes.
The eight-year veteran entered the league as a fourth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Ohio State and spent the first three seasons of his career with the organization. From there, he bounced around the league with the New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, and Commanders.

In all, the 6-foot-5, 283-pound defensive lineman has recorded 104 tackles and four sacks over eight seasons with six teams, including 21 tackles in 10 games with the Commanders in 2025.
To sign Holmes, Tennessee will have to make a corresponding roster move to add him to the offseason roster. Stay tuned for any and all updates.
