The temperatures are already hot at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium.
Leading up to Texas football‘s clash with Ohio State Saturday night, it was reported that temperatures were going to be above 100 degrees. But ESPN reporter Holly Rowe brought a thermometer to check the temperature on the turf field and showed that it was 163.6 degrees a bit less than two hours before kickoff.

About 30 minutes before the opening kick, she did her experiment again and with the sun setting, so did the temperature. In the shadier parts of DKR, Rowe’s thermometer measured 107.4 and then it was about 113.5 degrees.
