There is a kind of ‘duality’ about Zurich: on one hand, the quality of life there is very high, but on the other, living in Switzerland’s largest city is expensive. Does the former compensate for the latter? Share your views in our reader survey.
Zurich has ranked as the world’s most expensive city for several years in a row.
On a national scale, prices there, including rent, are 7.7 percent higher than in (also very expensive) Geneva.
At the same time, however, Zurich has consistently been getting high scores for its quality of living.
Call it a ‘Zurich paradox’ if you will, but we at The Local are looking for insight from our readers about whether the quality of life in Zurich is worth the high cost of living.
Please take a minute to fill in the survey below and share your own views, experience and advice with other foreign readers living in Zurich and Switzerland more widely.
