Teens slipped 300m down steep Kaweka Ranges terrain in near white-out conditions

A helicopter couldn’t reach the trio because of wild alpine weather, forcing Land Search and Rescue volunteers to trek through fierce winds and near-whiteout conditions to bring them home safely.
