Georgia soul pop singer Teddy Swims is all over the news following his viral, guest-stacked show at this year’s Coachella Music Festival. Now the singer has announced The Ugly Tour which includes a number of Canadian dates.

Swims’ set at the Empire Polo Club stage was one of the earlier headlining shows at this year’s festival, but he did everything necessary to make it something extra-special.

According to reviews, the stage was designed to look like the inside of an apartment, complete with a door to the side of the stage. When his show was interrupted by a doorbell chime, Swims would open it to reveal one of the guests who would join him on stage.

First up, Joe Jonas came out to duet on the country-tinged Jonas Brothers ballad When You Look Me in the Eyes. Next up was Vanessa Carleton, who dropped in to sing her recently TikTok revived 1990s hit A Thousand Miles. Finally, original Van Halen singer David Lee Roth cruised down the catwalk to blast out a rousing cover of the classic Jump.
