Teddy Swims plays Vancouver this week: What to know about the concert

Soulful Georgia singer Teddy Swims first gained a following with some inspiring cover song videos on YouTube and TikTok in 2019. His most-viewed video from that period remains his reworked take on Canadian country star Shania Twain’s You’re Still the One.

He dropped his debut EP, Unlearning, in May 2021 and began blowing up with appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden and support bills with Zac Brown Band and others. By 2022, he was on his first U.S. headline tour with two more EPs to his credit.

Swims debut album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) moved him in to the Billboard Hot 100 and global fame with major festival appearances in Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well as North American tours with Greta Van Fleet. With collaborations ranging from Meghan Trainor to X Ambassadors, Swims’ music crosses over many genres.

His coming album, Ugly, is due in 2027. So he is heading out to showcase songs past and present on The Ugly Tour.
