Stassie Karanikolaou Speaks Out After Missing Kylie Jenner’s Birthday

Completing their Barbiecore looks with feathered boas and sparkly tiaras, the group celebrated with cocktails and sweet treats by Cory Pohlman, who created a cake shaped in the shape of a bikini-clad woman as well as a frosted, bejeweled centerpiece for the festivities.

“Happy bday eve to meeee,” Kylie captioned the snapshots. “I had my dream princess kitty bday night. My heart if [sic] so full. I love my life and my friends.”

But this wasn’t the first time Stassie, also 29, faced speculation of a feud in her yearslong friendship with Kylie, who she first met at a Barnes & Noble when they were in middle school. In 2021, the influencer addressed rumors that they had fallen out after Kylie was noticeably missing in photos from her own birthday bash.

“It’s nuts because I’m like, ‘I’ve known this girl since I was literally 13,’” Stassie quipped in a Bustle interview at the time. “If you think that [because] we don’t post a photo together for a month we’re not friends, you’re insane.”

Since then, the two have continued to remain close, with Kylie even likening Stassie to a “sister.”

“She’s definitely my oldest friend,” the Khy founder explained during a 2023 episode of The Kardashians. “We grew up together, we’ve been through so much together.”
