ST. LOUIS — The start of Friday’s Chicago White Sox game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium has been delayed because of incoming poor weather, the Cardinals announced.
The game was scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m.

The Sox are looking to rebound after being swept in a three-game series by the Pittsburgh Pirates at Rate Field. They have lost eight of 11.
The Sox lead the American League Central by 1½ games over the second-place Cleveland Guardians, who began a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins on Friday at Target Field in Minneapolis.
