    Spotted: Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford Have Gossip Girl Reunion

    Watch: Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley Reveal If Their ‘Gossip Girl’ Characters Ended Up With Right People

    Attention, Upper East Siders—Queen B and Golden Boy have reunited!

    Over a decade after Gossip Girl signed off, costars Leighton Meester and Chace Crawford—who played Blair Waldorf and Nate Archibald, respectively, in the CW series—had an epic reunion at the Getty House’s Falconeri Dinner.

    At the Los Angeles event April 23, Leighton and Chace, both 40, smiled while posing for poolside photos together, proving that no time has passed between the two. While the Single Parents alum rocked a chic black knit top, paired with a matching satin maxi skirt and heels, The Boys star wore taupe sweaters and a gray jacket with light-colored trousers and sneakers.

    For the event, Chace brought his girlfriend Kelsey Merrit as his date, with the model joining the actor and Leighton, whose husband Adam Brody was not on-hand, for some pics. 

    And Gossip Girl fans will surely be feeling nostalgic as Chace and Leighton’s sweet reunion came nearly 14 years since the teen drama —also starring Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and more—ended in December 2012 after six seasons.

    While Blair and Nate’s doomed romance crumbled during the first season, they both went on to have many respective relationships and flings, with Blair ultimately ending up with Chuck Bass (Westwick).

    In fact, Leighton and Penn, whose character Dan Humphrey romanced Blair for a short but fan-favorite dalliance, recently shared their thoughts on how their characters’ storylines wrapped up.

    “I think he ended up with who he meant to end up with,” Penn said of Dan—who married Blake’s Serena van der Woosen in the series finale—on the Feb. 18 episode of his podcast Podcrushed which featured Leighton. “And Blair ended up with Chuck. I think they ended up with who they were meant to be with.”

    Leighton agreed, telling Penn, “I think you’re right.”

    Penn BadgleyFollowing his run as Dan Humphrey (who, spoiler alert, was ultimately revealed to be Gossip Girl), Badgley went to an even darker onscreen place playing stalker Joe Goldberg on the hit Netflix series You.In real life, however, the actor who romanced Lively on and off-screen early in GG‘s six-season run is a family man.He married Domino Kirke in February 2017 and they’ve since welcomed three sons, including twins born in September 2025.

    Leighton MeesterThe actress who played privileged Upper East Sider Blair Waldorf continued to be the toast of movies and TV, now starring on the CW/Stan series Good Cop/Bad Cop.Meester married actor Adam Brody in 2014 and they’re parents of a daughter named Arlo, born in 2015, and a son born in 2020, whose name they have not shared.“I wouldn’t change anything [about her time on Gossip Girl] because I’m happy where I am now,” Meester told PorterEditin 2018. “And I think that that’s one of the many wonderful parts of not only having a child and meeting your soulmate, but also I feel really lucky career-wise, really in a place that I want to be.”

    Chace CrawfordAfter graduating from the role of Nate Archibald, Crawford starred on ABC’s Blood & Oil, and appeared in films such as Eloise, All About Nina and Reunion. The native Texan has played Kevin (aka The Deep) on Amazon’s dark superhero satire The Boys since 2019.
