Coman caused controversy when he decided to finish off a promising attack rather than deliver the ball to Ronaldo.
This incident reignited discussions regarding on-field selfishness and the inclination of certain players to monopolize recognition during important games.

During an appearance on “Dawrina Ghair,” Al-Hraifi indicated he would have pursued an alternative course of action had he occupied Coman’s position.
Ronaldo had provided the opening goal for Al-Nassr against Al-Diriyah on Friday evening.

The “Al-Alami” captain persisted in his endeavor toward an unprecedented 1000th career goal, demonstrating exceptional performance and creating multiple scoring opportunities throughout the game.
Al-Hraifi said, “When Coman broke clear in the attack I said he wouldn’t pass it, but if I had been in his place i would have passed it to Ronaldo.
“However, Coman is under pressure and is aiming to achieve stardom in the league, and it seems Coman was more confident in himself and has a scoring instinct to find the net, and perhaps he thought Ronaldo was offside too. Even Ronaldo’s morale was wonderful and he scored and created.”
