A 50-year-old man is dead after a scuba diving incident on Sunday afternoon in the waters off Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver.

The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m., when West Vancouver police received reports of a scuba diver in distress. Several agencies, including the Canadian Coast Guard, responded, however the scuba diver was declared dead at the scene.
