In this week’s reacts poll, we asked readers how would you grade the Saints offseason?

44% of voters said they would give the team a grade of a B. While the 2026 draft class and free-agent signings have seemingly given the New Orleans Saints plenty of reasons for optimism, some fans have expressed concerns about the rash of injuries that has hit the team before the start of the regular season. Among the biggest concerns are injuries to key players such as WR Jordyn Tyson, RB Alvin Kamara and DE Cam Jordan, along with several other players who have already been placed on injured reserve.

On a positive note, the Saints enter the season with a favorable schedule and no questions at quarterback, with Tyler Shough firmly established as the team’s leader both on and off the field. During the offseason, Shough organized several workouts with his teammates, to help build chemistry and strengthen relationships within the team. One of which included a trip to San Diego, where players had the opportunity to work with Saints legend Drew Brees.
We will soon see if those extra efforts paid off when the Saints kickoff the 2026 regular season in Detroit next Sunday against the Lions.
