Watch: Anna Wintour Reacts to Rumors She Approves All Met Gala Looks
Sabrina Carpenter may be a busy woman, but she freed up her calendar to wow at the 2026 Met Gala.
The Grammy winner, served as a member of the host committee at the May 4 event in support of the “Costume Art” exhibition, gave fans a taste of Sabrinawood once again as she graced the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
For the occasion, Sabrina, 26, stayed true to the “Fashion Is Art” dress code in by donning a Dior dress covered in celluloid film strips from Audrey Hepburn‘s iconic movie Sabrina. Styled by Jared Ellner, the head-turning ensemble also featured intricate beading and a see-through black skirt with a high slit.
Sabrina completed her look with a diamond headpiece as a nod to the Old Hollywood style, as well as matching chandelier earrings.
And the “Please Please Please” singer is no stranger to dominating the red carpet at fashion’s biggest night. After all, Sabrina arrived at the 2025 Met Gala in a custom Louis Vuitton bodysuit designed by Pharrell Williams as her ode to the evening’s dress code, “Tailored for You.”
“I’m such a massive fan of Pharrell’s and have been to the show and I was just like, ‘If I could go this year with him, that would be my dream,’” Sabrina told Vogue at the event. “And it came true.”
As for what the Louis Vuitton men’s creative director decided to dress her in? Well, that would be a burgundy tuxedo-inspired bodysuit. Switching it up like Nintendo, Sabrina’s leotard-style look featured a corset bodice and dramatic long train.

And since Pharrell peeped Sabrina’s short ‘n sweet stature, it was his idea for the “Busy Woman” singer to go pantless at the event.
“He was like, ‘You’re quite short so no pants for you,’” she recalled. “So here we are.”
Noting that the night marked her third Met Gala, Sabrina shared a peek at the not-so-glamorous side of looking fabulous at the star-studded occasion, revealing she’s “never been to the bathroom once because I’ve never been able to use it in my outfit,” she admitted. “So tonight might be the night.”
“We’ll see. And I’m just gonna let everybody know what it looks like,” she said. “I’m sure it’s just a normal museum bathroom but I’m excited to find out.”
