Kayshon Boutte might want to play for a new team, but he intends to fulfil his short-term contractual obligations to the New England Patriots.

The fourth-year receiver didn’t attend voluntary offseason training activities (OTAs), and reportedly is “interested” in being traded following the Patriots’ acquisition of A.J. Brown. Many wondered whether he’d skip New England‘s mandatory minicamp, which runs Tuesday through Thursday, but Boutte last weekend told WBZ-TV’s Aaron Parseghian that he plans to show up.
Boutte, appearing at a football camp in Franklin, Mass., also addressed the ongoing trade rumors.
“I try not to buy into (rumors),” Boutte said. “I could control what I could control. As long as I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing off the field, everything else will play out.”
