Former Netherlands midfielder Mark van Bommel is set to become Belgium coach, according to a media report.
The 49-year-old is expected to sign a contract with the Red Devils until Euro 2028, Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad reported on Wednesday.

Van Bommel, a World Cup runner-up with the Dutch in 2010, played for Fortuna Sittard, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AC Milan.
As a coach, he took charge of PSV, VfL Wolfsburg and Royal Antwerp, where he won the Belgian double. Van Bommel has been without a club since 2024.
Frenchman Rudi Garcia was let go despite leading Belgium to the recent World Cup quarter-finals.
