Remember Esprit? The ’90s fashion favourite returns to Canada

Launching exclusively at Walmart stores and online across Canada, the relaunch sees a curated selection of colourful pieces such as T-shirts, sweatshirts and relaxed-fit jeans (ahem, which have already sold out online). The collection is available in sizes XS to XXL.

“Esprit holds a special place in the hearts of many Canadians, so it’s especially meaningful to bring this iconic brand back to Canada,” says Marlise Wilson, senior director, womenswear, Walmart Canada. “Esprit’s bright, optimistic spirit defined an era for so many of us, and I’m thrilled to bring that same sense of joy, colour and self-expression to both longtime fans and a new generation of customers.”

The Esprit launch comes amid other ’90s-inspired fashion launches, including the denim collaboration between Hailey Bieber and Gap, and singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo x Etsy. In celebration of the star’s first Daisy Chain Fields music festival, which is said to be inspired by Vancouver singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan’s revolutionary ’90s music festival Lilith Fair, Rodrigo handpicked 10 women-owned Etsy shops to highlight.

“This collection, that I got to create with an incredible group of women, brings to life pieces that fit perfectly into the world of Daisy Chain Fields,” Rodrigo said in a news release.

The featured products include a daisy chain crown, beaded daisy jewelry, a journaling kit and more.
