When it comes to wide receiver trade rumors, there may be none more interesting or compelling for the Pittsburgh Steelers than Pro Bowler Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Thomas is coming off a two-game stretch where he hasn’t caught a single pass. He also only played 15 snaps in Week 7 and isn’t likely to contribute in a major way for the Jaguars any time soon. Yes, he had a terrific rookie season in 2024, but he hasn’t done enough over the past season and a half to warrant a second-round pick. We at Steelers Wire also already projected Holcomb as a trade candidate and believe he could be valuable enough to get Jacksonville to accept the third-round pick.
