The Ogun State Police command on Wednesday, arraigned 29 suspects before the magistrate court sitting in Sagamu following its “operation keep Sagamu safe”.
Recall that no fewer than 146 suspects were arrested during the raid.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, on Thursday, told DAILY POST that the 146 suspects were screened and 29 were found culpable.
“Out of 146 suspects arrested, 29 were found culpable after thorough screening and have been charged to court on 15th April 2026” he stated.
The suspects are Nuruden Haiyatu aged 25, Sanusi Ibrahim, aged 22, Njetu Dishon, 31,Yinusa Adamu, 23, Abdulazeez Idi, 20, Kabiru Ishaku, 18, Modi Sajo aged 22, Isa Idris aged 20 and Usemi Hammed aged 25, 17 years old Abduazeez Sahadu, Zakaria Idrisu, 20, Mahasu Uhana,26, Jubrilla Idris,17, Gashon Musa, 22, Pius Marcus aged 24.
Others include Rabiu Idris, 24, Zakaria Yisa,20, Abdulrahmon Musa, 25, Nurudeen Injiba, aged 23, Hamza Abubakar 22 years old, Sodiq Jioda, 19, Abduulrahmon Suleiman, 21, Kabiru Ibrahim aged 25, Omaga Zakaria,18, Danladi Yisa, 24, Aliu Shaibu, 23, and Ahmed Saliu aged 22.
They appeared before His Worship, O.M. Somefun (Mrs) on a five count charge bordering on conspiracy to commit felony, willful and malicious damage of health center, unlawful attack and assault among others.
The suspects, however, pleaded not guilty and were granted a bail of 1million naira each.
The court ordered their remand pending perfection of bail with the case adjourned till 12th May 2026.
