Philadelphia woman injured with machete during fight over parking spot
PHILADELPHIA (TCN) — A fight over a parking spot ended with a 23-year-old woman being injured in a machete attack, authorities say.
On May 20, a woman called the police at about 1 a.m. and said she had been attacked during a fight with another driver over a parking spot, WCAU reports. When officers arrived, the woman had a cut on her hip and said the other driver pulled out a machete and attacked her during their altercation. Before police arrived, the alleged attacker left the scene in a blue Nissan Sentra.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition, WPVI reports. The name of the victim has not been released, and police are still searching for the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
