Fans of the PDC have a lot to look forward to next year, with some new tweaks to the schedule, including a new major, new ET hosts and format changes.
With some significant changes made, let’s look at the details.

Avid darts fans will have very few weekends without darts next year.
Whether it’s a major, Pro Tour, European Tour, or Challenge Tour/Development Tour event, something will be on more days than not.
A typical slow summer will have an extra major starting in 2027, with the addition of the European Open.
The last few months of the year will be busy as always, especially after it was announced that the European Championship was being expanded to a 6-day event.
Details on the formats of some of these events have yet to be revealed. The schedule for the 2027 World Series of Darts hasn’t been released yet either.
