Watch: You’ll Be Living for Paris Hilton’s Brunette Hair Transformation for Halloween
Paris Hilton wants fans to pull up a chair as she proudly presents the inspiration behind her family’s Halloween costumes.
After the Simple Life alum revealed her family’s transformation into characters from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, she addressed criticism she received for dressing as lead character Princess Belle, while her daughter London, 2, wore a Chip costume and son Phoenix, 3, was Lumière.
But according to Hilton—who shares her kids with husband Carter Reum—she wasn’t trying to put the spotlight on herself, but was following her daughter’s wishes.
“Beauty and the Beast is one of their favorite movies,” the hotel heiress commented on an Oct. 27 Instagram Reel discussing her family’s Halloween costume. “London said she wanted to dress up as Chip. She said it was her favorite character in the movie.”
And it all came together. Hilton and her family told a tale as old as time for Halloween, as she debuted their transformations on Instagram Oct. 26 with an epic family photoshoot.
To become Belle, the 45-year-old traded her signature blonde hair for a brown wig, while also wearing a gold ballgown with red rose accents fit for a princess and matching elbow-length gloves for added details.
And like any Disney Princess, Hilton’s Belle had her prince nearby, with her husband wearing a Beast mask, furry gloves and boots alongside his regal wear.
As for Hilton and Reum’s kids, London wore a colorful dress with Chip’s face on it to dress as the enchanted teacup and son of Mrs. Potts. The little one also had a matching purple bow in her hair and wore pink Velcro sneakers.
Meanwhile, her older brother Phoenix was ready to invite everyone to be his guest as he became an adorable version of the candelabra Lumière.
“My life is a fairytale,” Hilton captioned the sweet family carousel, “and the magic never ends.”

And the socialite proved there is truly magic in her family, especially with her kids, sharing a sweet behind-the-scenes video of Phoenix and London getting into some sibling shenanigans before they “locked in” and posed for photos.
But, of course, the duo—who were born via surrogate only 11 months apart—made time for hugs.
After all, Hilton has previously highlighted Phoenix and London’s special bond.
“London and Phoenix are the twins that are always connected at the hip,” she told E! News in January. “Phoenix is the best big brother. He’s so protective over her.”
