Florida Panthers veteran Brad Marchand is fully leaning into the rivalry his team has with the Ottawa Senators. The Panthers and Senators already had some beef brewing between them, but Brady Tkachuk‘s move from Ottawa to Florida only seemed to intensify the rivalry between these two sides. Marchand doused even more fuel on the fire of the two sides’ beef when he posted a comment laughing at Tim Stutzle being in contention for Senators captaincy.

Marchand does not have the best of reputations among NHL fans, and some even believe that Stutzle managing to ruffle the Panthers winger’s feathers means that he’s doing something right.
For what it’s worth, Stutzle is showing the composure of a captain, as he simply brushed off the remarks the Panthers veteran made.

“Yeah, I don’t really care to be honest. I don’t care about that at all. I mean, Drake (Batherson) was calling me right afterwards. I know that’s his neighbor, so I don’t care. I think he’s a great player. That’s what he’s trying to do, get in other guys’ head, and I respect him as a player, so I’m not too worried about it at all,” Stutzle said, via BarDown on X.
