The World Junior Summer Showcase is set to begin at the end of July and a couple of Spartans will be playing for their respective countries. The event serves as a part of the process to select the roster for the IIHF World Junior Championship.
The 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase will take place from July 26-August 1 at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ontario. Team practices commence on July 22, with the first games set for July 26.

Representing Michigan State with be Ethan Belchetz for team Canada and Eric Nilson for team Sweeden, both looking to secure their spots in the World Juniors at the end of this year.
