Bryce Harper invited plenty of mockery by posting a recent TikTok featuring his frankly bizarre toothbrushing routine. The San Diego Padres joined the fun Tuesday night.
Petco Park features fun facts of opposing players on the video board, so when the Philadelphia Phillies star went to bat in the fifth inning, his fact read, “Squirts toothpaste into his mouth instead of onto a toothbrush when brushing his teeth.” That’s because Harper brushed his teeth exactly that way in the now infamous TikTok. Yes, as hard as it is to believe, it’s the horrifying truth.

It was a quality joke but Harper had the last laugh. The two-time MVP went 1 of 2 with a home run, two runs scored and two walks on Tuesday. Philadelphia has won both games this series with a final matchup slated for this afternoon.
