Pop star Olivia Rodrigo communed with her musical idols, including Sarah McLachlan, at the inaugural all-women Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, Calif., on Saturday.

Vancouver’s McLachlan, the founder of the all-women Lilith Fair, joined headliner Rodrigo for duets of Angel and Building a Mystery. McLachlan dedicated their performance of Angel to Dolly Parton, who passed away on Aug. 25 at 80.

Rodrigo also recruited other heroes, including Alanis Morissette and Stevie Nicks, to sing with her at Great Park.

Morissette and Rodrigo delivered a scorching Ironic, from Morissette’s masterpiece Jagged Little Pill. Then, Nicks and Rodrigo combined for Nicks’ monster hit Landslide, trading verses while dancing together.

“She reminds me of me, when I was her age a hundred years ago,” Nicks told the crowd. “And I’m somewhat awestruck that she could do all this. Because it’s so hard, you have no idea, putting this together with all of these people. And she’s done it, with this grace.”

The Daisy Chain Fields festival offered 10 hours of music by all-women acts, including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Not for Radio, the Breeders and Mitski.

Rodrigo’s all-women festival put its money where its mic is and donated $10 million to non-profits benefitting women and girls. Melinda French Gates also stepped up and matched that donation.
