It’s time for a another tailgate party in Oak Ridge.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, there will be wieners on the grill at the Wildcat Tailgate Pavilion, 100 Kentucky Ave., for Oak Ridge Wildcat fans and friends to enjoy until kickoff.

The Oak Ridge High School team plays nearby Lenoir City at Blankenship Field at 7 p.m.
“Thank you, Jim Normand with Joyce, Meredith, Flitcroft & Normand Law and Title Services for sponsoring this week’s community tailgate,” said organizer Chris Corwin, ORHS Class of ’89. “Jim, a former member of the 1979 state championship team, along with sons and former Wildcats, James and Elliott, will be grilling and serving all-beef hot dogs from our local favorite butcher shop Secret City Butcher Shop from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thank you, JMFN Law and Title for proudly supporting Oak Ridge football and ORHS for over 70 years!”
