CLEAR SPRING — Konor Suter ran for 95 yards to lead Northern Garrett to its first win of the season, 14-6 over Clear Spring on Friday.
The Huskies (1-1), who were coming off a bye week after losing to Fort Hill, struck on their opening possession on a one-yard sneak by quarterback Brody Hanlin.

Clear Spring (1-2) scored shortly after converting a fourth-and-5 at the Huskies 11 with about seven minutes left to play. But Northern held onto a 7-6 lead after Clear Spring bobbled the snap on the two-point attempt.
The Huskies started the ensuing drive on the Blazers 38 after a face mask was called on a return by Emmitt Lipscomb.
The drive resulted in an eight-yard touchdown run from Mason Bishoff to give Northern a 14-6 lead with less than three minutes remaining.
Clear Spring then drove down the field thanks to some chunk plays and two pass interference calls. The Blazers had the ball at the Huskies 9, but Northern came up with the final stop to hold on.

Hanlin was 4 of 9 passing for 49 yards. Lipscomb was his top target with two catches for 28 yards. Lipscomb also carried the ball six times for 29 yards.
The Huskies’ defense recovered three fumbles.
Northern will play at No. 1 Frankfort (3-0) on Friday at 7 p.m.
Grafton 39, Hampshire 12
GRAFTON, W.Va. — Jacob Moats finished with more than 150 yards and a touchdown to propel the Bearcats to a romp over the Trojans.
Moats caught five passes for 102 yards and added 52 more on the ground.
Grafton (3-1) ran for 271 yards as a team. Cash Nestor led the effort with 64 yards. Jaxson Hussion and JW Nestor contributed 60 and 57 yards, respectively.

JW Nestor also found the end zone twice.
Bearcats quarterback Chace Kinsey completed 7 of 12 passes for 128 yards. Kinsey carried the ball seven times for 37 yards and three scores.
Jaydyn Clark led the Bearcats’ defense with two sacks, four tackles-for-loss and a fumble recovery.
Hampshire’s individual statistics were unavailable.
Hampshire (1-3) will play at Keyser (3-1) on Friday at 7 p.m.
