No. 4 Louisville volleyball swept Syracuse on the road to open ACC play on Friday, Sept. 26.
The Cardinals dominated in all three sets. They took the first set 25-9, the second 25-13 and 25-18 in the final set.

Louisville finished the game hitting .368 as a unit with 40 kills. Chloe Meester led the Cardinals with 10 total kills. Kalyssa Blackshear and Chloe Chicoine each added eight.
The Louisville defense made it extremely difficult for Syracuse to produce any offense. The Orange hit just .010 on the night. No Syracuse player had more than six kills.
The Cardinals (11-2, 1-0 ACC) will face Boston College in their next match on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Their first home ACC match will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. against Notre Dame.
