Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Phrank Shaibu, on Friday told President Bola Tinubu that Nigerians are expecting updates on his trip to Saudi Arabia.
Tinubu is currently in Makkah, Saudi Arabia performing Umrah, Lesser Hajj.
Upon his departure from Nigeria, Atiku had charged the President to send photos and proofs of his spiritual engagement in Saudi Arabia.
Atiku issued the charge following claims that Tinubu was traveling to Saudi Arabia for medical treatment.

Reacting, Shaibu said Nigerians expect today’s report of Tinubu’s activities in Saudi Arabia.
Posting on X, he wrote: “Thank you, @aonanuga1956, for yesterday’s attendance report. That is how to be accountable when you travel to pray on behalf of a nation.
“We expect today’s report from Jumat prayers too. Please don’t fail Nigerians. By the way, what exactly was he mumbling in that interview?”
