With only a few weeks remaining until the release of their 11th studio album, Nickelback has announced a cross-country tour in support of Everything Under the Sun.

Due to be released on Oct. 30 on Virgin Music, the new record from the Alberta quartet was co-produced by frequent collaborator Chris Baseford and the group’s lead singer and songwriter Chad Kroeger. The album was officially announced last July with the release of the second single, Rattle the Cage, which featured Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5.

The new album is their first on Virgin Music Group. Their previous two albums were handled by BMG. Based on the singles that have dropped, the album looks likely to continue showcasing the heavier side of the band as did its predecessor Get Rollin’ and its crunchy leadoff track San Quentin.

Kroeger has noted that the new record will showcase all sides of the popular group, so fans are sure to get a variety of new songs to sing along to.
