The next phase of the offseason has officially kicked off as players begin to report for NFL training camps this week, starting with the 2026 NFL Draft class.
All 32 teams will report to training camp by July 28, though there are several teams getting a jump on things early. Both the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers will have both rookies and veterans reporting by July 22 as they’re set to play in the Hall of Fame Game on August 6.

The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots are the next two teams to have veterans report (July 24), set to open up the 2026 regular season with a Super Bowl LX rematch on Wednesday, September 9.

Fans around the league await answers to a number of questions as training camps kick off, from who will win out the biggest quarterback battles (Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders? Kyler Murray or J.J. McCarthy?) to which of the league’s new head coaches will find success in their new roles and whether or not Patrick Mahomes will be ready for Week 1.

On paper, the Miami Dolphins look like they are heading for a rebuilding year in 2026. But that doesn’t mean the team is bereft of elite talent. The Dolphins took a major step toward retaining some of that talent Tuesday, reportedly signing linebacker Jordyn Brooks to a three-year, $51.3 million extension, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The deal comes as the 28-year-old Brooks was about to enter his walk year with the team in 2026.
