Watch: Ned’s Declassified’s Devon Werkheiser Speaks Out as Costar Tylor Chase Faces Homelessness
Jennifer Hyatt Tedmori is declassifying how much money she’s still making from her days as a child star.
The actress—who appeared as Doris Trembly, a member of the “Huge Crew” girls, in 11 episodes of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide—revealed what she receives annually for reruns of the Nickelodeon show that ended in 2007.
“It’s that time of the year for me. I got my Ned’s residual checks,” Tedmori shared in a July 23 update on Instagram. “And I have been procrastinating for months in opening this.”
And there’s a reason why the 37-year-old has avoided the task at hand.
“It is a b—h,” Tedmori explained of the payment process. “Some of these could be a penny, some of these could be five dollars.”
As such, the former child star was not impressed with her residual pay for “School Website and Valentine’s Day,” an episode that she recalled as “very fun” to shoot.
“A grand total of two cents,” Tedmori quipped after opening the check. “See all of this paper I’m just littering in my car for two f–king cents?”
But that lackluster residual check was just the beginning of it. As Tedmori opened more envelopes, other checks showed that she had individually earned three cents, 68 cents and most notably a little more than a dollar for other episodes.
“I know, hard times, economy is s–t, but like two cents? Keep it. Just f–king keep it. I don’t want it.” Tedmori mused. “I get it, it’s been a long time. I’m surprised that I’m getting anything. But three cents? It cost you 75 cents to send this envelope. The way it’s adding up, the math ain’t f–king mathing.”
So, what’s the grand total? “For Ned’s Declassified, that brings me to a grand total of eight dollars and 63 cents,” Tedmori said, adding, “Maybe I can go buy a coffee at Starbucks.”

But it wasn’t all disappointing news for the dancer. A residual check for a 2008 episode of 90210 that she guest starred in yielded slightly more impressive results.
“I did 90210 20 years ago,” Tedmori noted. “$21.43? I’m surprised.”
